10.12.2013 Professor Alladi Venkatesh visited the Department of Communication and gave a talk at a seminar organized by the Media Management Group (MeMaG) of the department. In his talk, Professor Venkatesh discussed social media as a new digital space for organizing social and cultural interactions and economic activities.

The visit was now highly topical as the organization has been constantly in the Finnish headlines for the last few weeks.

23.09.2013 Once again, a Master’s Thesis completed at the Department of Communication was highlighted in the media. On 16 September, 2013, The Finnish business weekly Talouselämä published news on the findings of Maija Honkanen’s Master's Thesis. Honkanen researched the two-way communication process of Investor Relations with stakeholders outside the company and with the top management.
